RETREAT SPEAKER
DAN HOUK is a speaker, pastor, and co-author of Intentional Relationships for Singles. Dan has a deep passion for helping singles build healthy, God-centered relationships and will be teaching on God's Blueprint for Fulfilling Relationships at the retreat. Dan's message has been shaped by years in the ministry, and by real life—having experienced marriage, divorce, and now a thriving remarriage. Dan served as a Campus Pastor at Shadow Mountain Church, and as a Singles Pastor at Bayside Church in Sacramento, where he led one of the largest singles ministries in the nation, growing to over 1,000 singles weekly. Dan and his wife Teresa are popular speakers and reside in Northern California.
COMEDIAN EMCEE
SCOTT WOOD is one of the funniest comedians and an impressionist with over 300 famous voices that will keep you laughing all weekend. Scott is one of our favorites and is our clean comedian emcee. Comedian Scott Wood is known as "Mr. Punchline" and has appeared on ABC, NBC, BET, FOX, Comedy Central, America's Got Talent, and on cruise ships, corporations, churches, retreats, to name a few. You can find Scott's DRYBAR special "Mr. Punchline" out everywhere now. He was featured on "Who's Funny?" for Amazon and ROKU. Scott is also the creator and host of the cooking show "Something Smells" Funny" featuring stand-up comedians streaming on Tubi TV.
CONTEMPORARY MUSIC
GRACE L.A. WORSHIP BAND will lead us in uplifting contemporary praise and worship throughout the retreat as we grow closer to God together. We’re excited to have four members of their worship team joining us for an uplifting and memorable weekend! Grace L.A. Worship is a collective group from Los Angeles and San Diego churches. Their mission is to invite others to worship God with authenticity and leads with classic and modern-style praise and worship. They joined us for the first time at our Spring Singles Retreat. We're excited to have them back with us again!
LODGING
Come enjoy a refreshing 3-day weekend Friday-Sunday at Thousand Pines, a beautiful 225-acre retreat center in Crestline and only 20 minutes from the bottom - up to 20° cooler weather.
Choose from staying on-site (recommended), stay off-site nearby, or on Saturday. Your meals are included. We have the beautiful main camp area exclusively for our group.
CABINS OR LODGE ROOMSStay in nice comfortable cabins on lower beds with thick pads, bathroom and sink. Or, a nice log cabin lodge with multiple bathroom stalls, sinks and showers. Bring your own bedding. Additional men and women's bathrooms with showers are a few steps away.YURTSStay in a yurt on lower beds with thick pads. Yurts have a top dome for stargazing at night. Bring your own bedding. Additional men and women's bathrooms with showers are a few steps away.TENT VILLAGETent Village is new to Thousand Pines located in the main retreat area, featuring a private central firepit and surrounding picnic tables. There are 3 new tents equipped with comfortable cots, an electrical outlet, mosquito nets, and lamps. See pictures in photo gallery.STAY OFF-SITE OR SATURDAY ONLYSleep at home or nearby and attend the retreat staying off-site. Or, come attend the retreat on Saturday only.

You'll enjoy plenty of free-time group activities and fellowship throughout the weekend. This is only some of the activities available and something for everyone. We also offer two workshops on Saturday afternoon.
